Blue-line injury for the Oilers
Keystone Press

Heading into tonight's game against the New-York Islanders, the Edmonton Oilers are looking to end a 3-game losing streak. Coach McLellan already mixed up his lines as Patrick Maroon will play alongside Connor McDavid and Jordan Eberle.

It appears it won't be the only change to the Oilers lineup as blue-liner Kris Russell is out with an undisclosed injury, in replacement the team will deploy defensemen Eric Gryba.

Russell was third in the league for blocked shots with 31 and boasted 3 assists in 11 games so far this season. Gryba played in 7 contests and cumulated 8 minutes on the penalty box.

Cam Talbot is expected to be in the net.
