Blues’ Edmunson celebrates his day with the Cup in the most Canadian way possible

What do you do when you’re a Canadian prairie boy returning home with the Stanley Cup? You celebrate in the most Canadian way possible.

St. Louis Blues defenseman Joel Edmunson returned to his native Brandon, Manitoba to celebrate his day with the Cup recently and his first stop was at the local watering hole, Joe Beeverz Bar & Grill, where he had a uniquely Canadian meal served up to him in the Cup.

Yep, that’s poutine in the Cup! For, apparently, the first time ever!

For our American fans who aren’t cultured in the deliciousness of poutine, it’s a dish of French fries served with hot gravy and cheese curds on top. It’s sloppy, it’s messy and it’s fantastic.

Mmmmmm… poutine.
