It doesn’t get any better than tonight.

For the first time since 2011, the Stanley Cup Finals will be decided with a Game 7 as the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues face off tonight in a championship game showdown.

The Bruins haven't won the championship since 2011, while the Blues have never won it - we are therefore promised to see quite a performance on either side with every player looking to be the hero for his team.

To make sure he has all of the necessary resources to help his Blues with the first championship in franchise’s history, forward Brayden Schenn reached out to a true Stanley Cup Game 7 hero to get some advice.

10 years ago today, Max Talbot became the hero in Pittsburgh as he lead the Penguins to the Stanley Cup over the Detroit Red Wings in 2009. The Pens took the game 2-1, and Talbot, who had only scored 12 goals in the regular season that year, scored both goals in the most important game of his life.

On Wednesday, Talbot revealed to TVA Sports that Schenn, his former teammate of the Philadelphia Flyers, texted him asking for some advice ahead of his own Game 7.

"What’s up mister game 7? Any advice?”, wrote Schenn.

Talbot explained in French what he told the Blues forward, however, here is a translation of his advice, per Bardown

“Listen, it comes from the inside. Have fun, live it completely. Keep your shoulders down, eyes up. Be on the lookout. But know inside you that you're going to win the Cup. You need to be motivated and have no doubts at all. Go with your heart, know that you’re going to win, and have fun. Win or lose, you have to enjoy it”.

Let’s see if Talbot’s advice will push Schenn and the Blues over the edge and the Bruins to bring home their first ever Stanley Cup.
