The St. Louis Blues will never forget superfan Laila Anderson who inspired them to push hard, never give up and always believe in themselves.

The 11-year-old girl, who has a rare auto-immune disease, inspired the team and lifted the Stanley Cup with the players on the ice after the Game 7 win in Boston and at the rally.

The Blues were dead last in the league six months prior to being crowned champions and Laila is said to have inspired them all the way through the difficult times, and finally the great ones.

Well, one night Laila will never forget is Thursday evening when the young girl met her bone marrow donor for the first time.

Laila met Kenton Felmlee at the Be the Match gala, a fundraiser in place to raise awareness and help to produce more stories and second leases on life.

The video will make you cry as Laila and Kenton hug for a very long time, in tears, as they celebrated the second chance at life he offered her.

According to Fox2, Laila and Kenton both agreed that this is the beginning of a special friendship that will last a long time. They already have plans to hang out soon.
