One of hockey's top insiders has shared his thoughts on the big question. The question of course is who the Toronto Maple Leafs will draft at number one in the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

While most pundits believe that the Leafs will go with Auston Matthews, who has been the near-unanimous prediction from the very beginning there have been those who believe Patrik Laine is the true franchise player in this draft. The fact that Patrik Laine led his nation to a Silver Medal at the World Championship while also claiming MVP honors has only added to that belief among some.

With all that said, TSN's Bob McKenzie still believe that the Leafs will zero in on Matthews at the end of the day, something that head coach Mike Babcock's behavior at the World Championship would seem to also inidcate.

You can listen to Mckenzie's full thoughts here.
