It’s every hockey fan’s dream: to hoist the Stanley Cup at centre ice following a hard fought Game 7. But here’s the thing… you don’t have to be in the NHL to make that dream a reality. In fact, you don’t even have to be in the media… at least that’s what we’ve learned now thanks to Boston hockey fan Timothy King Jr.

King recently shared photos and videos from his stealth Stanley Cup celebration and even told the story of how he managed to get through security with a fake media pass. King ended up on the ice celebrating with the St. Louis Blues and even got his own personal moment with the Cup.

I snuck into game 7 in Boston . I then went down to the media section with my fake credential and got onto the ice. I told the blues backup goalie I was a random players little brother, then he gave me the cup. 

Incredible. Not going to lie though, seeing non-players lifting the Cup never sits right with me. In any case, here’s the full story again courtesy of King himself:
