Brad Marchand gets roasted by his own teammate on social media.

This may quickly be on the way to becoming my favorite rivalry between any two players in the National Hockey League and the craziest part about it is that both of the men involved play on the very same team.

It seems that notorious Boston Bruins agitator Brad Marchand and fellow Boston Bruins' teammate Torey Krug have struck up quite the unique friendship as of late as the two men have often been engaged in public battles on social media in which they go after one another pretty hard. Now to be clear it is quite obvious that there is no malice at all between these two men but that does not prevent the jokes that they make at one another's expense from hitting close to home. 

Once again it appears as though it was Marchand who started the flame war on social media this time and once again it seems like it was Marchand who ended up getting the worst of things. Marchand was commenting on a highlight of the spectacular goal scored by Florida Panthers star forward Aleksander Barkov on Sunday night when his comment regarding that goal prompted what seemed like a relatively harmless response from Krug. A simply "Sup Marchy?" was all that Krug wrote but that was enough of an invitation for Marchand to begin going in on his teammate.

Here is the first salvo that was fired by Marchand. A joke clearly meant to be at the expense of Krug's size, implying that he can bathe in a rather diminutive bucket. 

A pretty funny joke from Marchand, not bad at all really, but the response from Krug once again proved to be far too good and appeared to immediately win him the day. That is at least if you are counting points on social media as any kind of victory, which in this case I actually would be willing to bet that they are. Krug's response saw him set up what looks like 3 little steps to lead up to the bed, steps he implied that Marchand would need just to manage to get up into the bed, again a shot at the man's small size.

Marchand had a decent come back of his own but Krug's burn seems to have been by far the most popular, probably due at least in part to how much some other fan bases genuinely hate Marchand.
