Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand may be playing with fire but he's doing so in a way that has allowed him to skate.

Marchand was involved in another controversial incident on Tuesday night when he once again tripped a player from behind, by sweeping his leg behind the back of the opposing players leg. This time it was Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman who was the victim of the trip, although it appears the NHL's Department of Player Safety feels it was not intentional.

Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman had reported earlier today that he was hearing Marchand would not be disciplined by the league for this play, and an NHL spokesperson has since confirmed that report.

Here's a look at the trip on Stralman.

The controversy surrounding this decision stems from the fact that Marchand was disciplined just days ago for a similar play on Detroit Red Wings veteran Niklas Kronwall, and that has led to many refusing to give him the benefit of the doubt for the trip on Stralman.
