Braking: Huge update on Marcus Foligno contract negotiations from Floigno himself!

We have a huge update on veteran forward Marcus Foligno and it comes from the man himself.

Foligno spoke with Minnesota Wild insider Mike Russo of The Athletic about his ongoing contract negotiations, and according to Foligno it's now only a matter of time before he signs on the dotted line.

Russo reports that Foligno told him things are "very close" and further more that he fully expects the deal will be completed prior to the start of the Minnesota Wild's training camp.

No word from Russo on what that contract might look like once it is in fact signed.
