The Chicago Blackhawks received some really good news today, as goaltender Corey Crawford is expected to join the team in Arizona for their next road trip! The Blackhawks are playing against the Minnesota Wild tonight, and will fly to Arizona to play against the Coyotes on Monday. Head coach Joel Quenneville does not expect him to play on that road trip, but said there is a good chance to see him back in action pretty soon. Crawford played his last game on December 23rd. His injury is listed as an upper-body issued, but there were reports suggesting that he was dealing with vertigo like symptoms.

Before his injury, Crawford had a record of 16-9-2 in 28 starts, with a 2.27 goal-against average and a .929 save percentage. The Blackhawks are currently last in the Central division with a record of 24-22-8. They are eight points away from a playoff spot.
