Another day, another two dozen players on the NHL waiver wire. While each player from yesterday’s crop successfully passed through waivers unclaimed, a few names on today’s list may pique the interest of general managers across the NHL.

Check it out:

The most intriguing names? There is a first round pick for the 2011 NHL Draft: Matt Puempel was selected 24th overall by the Ottawa Senators and could grab the interest of different clubs around the League.

Chris Terry was placed on waivers by the Montreal Canadiens, he who had a terrific season last year in the American Hockey League. In 58 games with the St. John's IceCaps, he recorded 30 goals and 38 assists. He might get picked up by an NHL team.

Anyone else on this list you’d like to see your team take a run at?
