It sounds like one veteran forward is ready to call it quits after an incredible career that spanned 15 National Hockey League seasons.

While the announcement has not yet been made official, according to a report from Dallas Stars insider Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News, former Dallas stars captain Brenden Morrow is expected to announce his retirement on Thursday of this week.

The news does make sense, after all Morrow last played 70 games for Tampa Bay in 2014-2015 and has not appeared in a single game this season, and many expected this to be the end of his professional career, or at the very least his NHL career.

Morrow never won the Stanley Cup during his tenure in the NHL, but achieved incredible success throughout his career noentheless, including a 2010 Gold Medal win with Canada, and a 1997-1998 Memorial Cup with the Portland Winter Hawks win during his time in the minors.

If Morrow does retire he will end his career with 991 games played, 265 goals. and 310 assists.
