Breaking: 15 year veteran spotted leaving arena on crutches Monday.

It sounds like we have have another major injury to a player attending the World Cup, although nothing is official just yet.

According to a report from Sportsnet's Matt Brown, veteran forward Marian Gaborik has been spotted leaving the Air Canada Center on crutches, it's unclear at this time what the nature of his injury is.

This is obviously terrible news for the Los Angeles King this close to the regular season, and furthermore it's a big blow to Team Europe who is headed into a best of three series against hockey powerhouse Team Canada.

We will continue to update this story as more information is made available.

Update: Gaborik's leg was in a cast when he was spotted leaving.

Update: Sounds like it's at least two months on the sideline for Gaborik.
