Breaking: 22 NHL players hit the waiver wire

With the NHL regular season just around the corner and teams looking to round their roster into shape for the 2017-18 campaign, the waiver wire has seen a lot of action in the past 24 hours. 

While everyone who hit waivers yesterday cleared and was assigned accordingly, a fresh batch of players could generate some interest around the league. Hitting waivers today are:

Wow. Some surprising names in there, but perhaps none more surprising than the top one. Not long ago Winnipeg Jets goalie Michael Hutchinson was a top goaltending prospect in the NHL. Do you think another team takes a crack at him?
