Disaster for playoff contender

The Bruins are in the midst of a tough playoff battle and the last thing they needed was a major injury.
Unfortunately that appears to be exactly what they are dealing with as the Bruins have now announced that 25-year-old center Ryan Spooner will be out "indefinitely."
Bruins insider Joe Haggerty is reporting that Spooner suffered what has now been diagnosed as a concussion in the third period of Monday night's 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
Spooner has appeared in 65 games for Boston this season and has contributed 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points. There's no sugar-coating this for Boston, it's a big loss.
