He agreed to terms with Ak Bars

Early report from Igor Eronko, Sport-Express’ hockey writer/KHL, NHL, international hockey, an Edmonton Oilers center is reportedly leaving for the KHL.

As reported, Anton Lander agreed to terms with Ak Bars of the KHL. The deal comes after Lander’s two-year, $1.975M pact with the Oilers expired, and he became a restricted free agent.


The 26-year-old center man played 215 games in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers. He scored 10 goals and registered 25 assists for a total of 35 points. Anton lander is a former second round pick (40th overall) of the 2009 NHL entry draft.
