Breaking: 31-year-old forward signs a one-year deal!

The New Jersey Devils have officially agreed to terms of a one-year, one-way, $800,000 deal with 31-year-old forward Drew Stafford.

The team has confirmed the news on its official Twitter account:

Stafford was selected in the first round of the 2004 NHL draft by the Buffalo Sabres, with whom he played from 2006 to 2015. He then suited up for the Winnipeg Jets and the Boston Bruins. In 725 career NHL games, he amassed 183 goals and 217 assists for exactly 400 points. He added 11 more points in 30 playoff games.
