Breaking: 6'5 220lbs forward signs his first NHL contract.

There were rumors that Swedish defenseman Victor Ejdsell was drawing interest from multiple National Hockey League teams, and on Monday we got confirmation that at least one team was in fact very interested.

Just hours after the Nashville Predators punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals, the team has now reportedly closed in on Ejdsell and have signed him to his first career National Hockey League contract.

While the Predators have not officially announced the signing, a report from NBC sports is claiming that Swedish media outlets are already reporting that this is in fact a done deal.

Ejdsell is coming off a terrific season that saw him record 25 goals and 32 assists for 57 points in just 50 games. When you combine that with his impressive physical attributes, he is 6'5 and 220lbs at 21-years old, it's no surprise that he was drawing interest from the NHL.
