Six or seven NHL teams were eyeing winger Justin Brazeau, however, the young man has finally made his choice. 

Six-foot-six right winger Justin Brazeau, who weighs 226 pounds and wear skates size 16, caught the attention of many teams across the NHL during the playoffs in the Ontario Hockey League. Playing for the North Bay Batallion, he is the captain of the team and dominates the league with a record of 61 goals and 52 assists for a total of 113 points in 68 games.

On Thursday morning, it was announced that Brazeau has agreed to a two-year American Hockey League contract with the Toronto Marlies, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.


The deal will pay him $70,000 in base salary with a $60,000 signing bonus.

It is believed that the Columbus Blue Jackets, Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators and the Vegas Golden Knights were among the teams interested in Brazeau’s services.

The 21-year-old forward is leading the OHL in goal scoring with 61 and finishing second in points with 113.
