Breaking: A whole new kind of trade now available for Las Vegas!

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have a whole new way to make some trades and it should be extremely exciting for fans of the National Hockey League.

According to ESPN insider Pierre LeBrun, free agents signed by the Las Vegas Golden Knights during their exclusive negotiating window could be dealt by the franchise.

In fact, and perhaps most interesting of all, current teams in the NHL could also trade picks or player's to Vegas in exchnage for Vegas signing free agents during the exclusive window, allowing Vegas to flip them back to those rival teams after the expansion draft.

For example a team with their heart set on pending free agent Kevin Shattenkirk could give up players or picks to Vegas in order to "sign" him earlier than they could normally, with Vegas flipping Shattenkirk back to them after the expansion draft.

You can bet with this rule in place there will be a large number of NHL teams looking to take advantage.
