Earlier today, St. Louis Blues insider Jeremy Rutherford revealed that rookie forward Robert Thomas wouldn’t be able to be part of the lineup tonight for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final against the Bruins in Boston.

Head coach Craig Berube has confirmed that Thomas will be out tonight, he would was the victim of a monstrous hit by a helmet-less Bruins defenseman Torey Krug on Monday. Berube did mention the unspecified injury had nothing to do with the hit...

However, Berube also informed media that defenseman Vince Dunn wouldn’t be in uniform tonight. Many expected the blue liner to be ready for Game 2, however, he remains sidelined. Dunn missed Game 1 of the Cup Final and has not played since Game 3 of the Western Conference Final after taking a puck to the face off a shot from San Jose Sharks’ Brendan Dillon.

Dunn was on the ice for the Blues' skate on Wednesday, however, he remained on the four defensive pairing with Michael Del Zotto.

Here is a look at the projected lineup for the Blues for Game 2 tonight:

Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko
Maroon-O’Reilly-Perron
Maroon-Bozak-Fabbri
Barbashev-Sundqvist-Steen

Edmundson-Pietrangelo
Bouwmeester-Parayko
Gunnarsson-Bortuzzo

Binnington
