Breaking: Another NHL coach expected to be out of a job.

There's a major report that claims another National Hockey League head coach is out of job.

According to Adrian Dater, national NHL columnist for Bleacher Report, the Minnesota Wild have decided to move on from head coach John Torchetti despite the massive turn around the club experienced under his guidance this season. Torchetti, despite stepping in on an interim basis when general manager Chuck Fletcher fired Mike Yeo, was expected to be the leading candidate for the head coaching job next season as a result of his level of success.

In fact Fletcher himself seemed to endorse Torchetti as his leading candidate when speaking to the media after the Wild's first round playoff exit. Fletcher refered to him as “definitely a very serious candidate.”

However it appears that the decision by the Anaheim Ducks to part ways with head coach Bruce Boudreau has influed Fletcher's plan for the future, and according to Dater Minnesota has already put an offer on the table, and is hoping for a quick decision from Boudreau.

There's another piece to this story as well, according to Dater one of the team's franchise players, defenseman Ryan Suter, was "not a fan" of Torchetti. Dater believes that this friction with Suter killed his chances of retaining the job.
