Breaking: Avalanche want one of two players from the Senators for Duchene.

The rumors regarding the Ottawa Senators and the Colorado Avalanche putting together a potential blockbuster deal continue to get louder, and we now have more details on what the other pieces of the deal could be.

In a recent Insider Trading segment the players that the Avalanche are targeting were revealed by TSN insiders Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger, and unsurprisingly they are some of Ottawa's top young players.

At the top of the list for general manager Joe Sakic is reportedly 20-year-old defenseman Thomas Chabot, Ottawa's first round draft pick in the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft. The insiders believe Chabot would be a non-starter for the Senators, and if they aren't willing to give him up for a player like Duchene you have to imagine he is untouchable.

Joe Sakic is reportedly also interested in 23-year-old defenseman Cody Ceci, also a first round pick of the Ottawa Senators but in Ceci's case it was at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. One has to wonder what else Sakic would be looking for in the deal however if Ceci was the main piece.

More to come.
