The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens have a pretty unbeatable rivalry when it comes to the National Hockey League. Leafs coach Mike Babcock wrote another - pretty solid - chapter to it on Saturday after the teams' morning skates.
When asked by a Montreal reporter asking about star defenseman Shea Weber and how he has been used by the Habs, Babcock had the perfect line to express his sentiment.
Babcock has always appreciated Weber's talent, putting him in his first pair of defenders on the international stage for Team Canada.
Habs head coach Claude Julien might take offense to his comments and plan to use Weber against the Leafs' young stars like Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner. Weber has been mentoring young Victor Mete since the start of the season, in which the Habs are struggling so far out of the gate.
The Leafs are looking to end a 14-game winning streak against the Habs tonight. And Babcock is ready with the trash talk for sure.
