One National Hockey League franchise is hoping and praying this isn't serious.
Just one day after the NHL's trade deadline Florida Panthers netminder Roberto Luongo has suffered what early reports are calling a lower-body injury, forcing him to exit Thursday's night game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
It was Luongo's first back to back start since early February and unfortunately now Luongo will be out for an undertermined period of time, leaving back up James Reimer to shoulder the bulk of the workload once again.
We will bring you more updates when the exact nature and extent of Luongo's injury has been revealed.
Update: Here's the video.
