Breaking: Blackhawks get a last minute, but welcome addition to the line up.
This is huge for Chicago.

The Blackhawks just got some last minute news, and it's HUGE for Chicago.
According to a breaking news report from reporter Pat Boyle of Sportsnet, the Blackhawks have been told that forward Andrew Ladd is on a plane and on his way to St. Louis and furthermore will arrive in time for Game 1 of the Blackhawks opening round playoff series against the St. Louis Blues.
There were serious concerns that Ladd would miss Game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs after his wife Brandy went into labor on Wednesday, set to give birth to the families third child. Ladd had informed members of the Chicago media that the baby wasn't due until late May, but it seems like the baby had other plans.
We don't know at this time if Brandy gave birth, or what has happened to make Ladd available, but he is definitely en route for Game 1.
