Breaking: Bo Horvat status updated for tonight's game!
Keystone Press

The Vancouver Canucks have updated the status of forward Bo Horvat ahead of tonight's game against the Edmonton Oilers. The 22-year old forward is still dealing with an ankle injury, and he will not be able to come back in action tonight. He is sidelined since December seventh. In 28 games played this season, he scored ten goals and added ten assists for a total of 20 points prior to his injury.

However, Canucks head coach Travis Green said that there is still a possibility of seeing Horvat play tomorrow against the Winnipeg Jets

Drafted ninth overall by Vancouver in 2013, the London, Ontario native scored 59 goals and added 78 assists for a total of 137 points in 259 games played so far. He added four points in six playoff games.

Coach Green also confirmed that Jacob Markstrom will get the start tonight against Edmonton. In 33 starts this season, the 27-year old goaltender has a record of 12-14-5 with a 2.72 goal-against average and a .909 save percentage.

The Canucks are currently seventh in the Pacific division with a record of 18-21-6. They are currently on a two-game winning streak, and are 3-5-2 in their last ten games.
