Keystone Press

The Boston Bruins have recalled defenseman Matt Grzelcyk from the Providence Bruins (AHL), the team announced on Tuesday. He will travel with the team in New Jersey tomorrow.

Grzelcyk, 23, was drafted 85th overall by the Bruins in 2012. The Charlestown, Massachusetts native has played one game with Boston so far this season, without registering a point. In 14 games played with Providence this season, he had four points. In 101 games played at the AHL level, he registered 39 points (regular season and playoffs included).

The Bruins will try to win their third win in a row tomorrow night against the Devils.
