The Boston Bruins gave two contract extensions to young goaltenders Malcom Subban and Zane McIntyre. The contracts have a two-years length, two-ways for both netminders and are worth $650,000 each.

A former 2012 first round pick, Subban played in 37 games last season with the Bruins affiliated club, the Providence Bruins, in which he collected 11 wins and 14 losses with a save percentage of .917.

On his part, McIntyre, a former 2010 6th round pick, played in 8 NHL games with the Bruins in which he showed a .858 save percentage and a 3.97 goal against average. He ended his season playing in Providence along Subban.
