Breaking: Bruce Boudreau has reportedly made his decision.

This is a genuinely shocking turn of events.

Despite the fact that with his daughter and grandchild living in Ottawa appeared to indicate that head coach Bruce Boudreau taking over as bench boss was a done deal, one team has stepped up with a major offer and stolen him away.

According to a report from former NHL goaltender and current analyst for the NHL Network, Kevein Weeks, the Minnesota Wild have won the Bruce Boudreau sweepstakes, no financial details were disclosed by weeks.

Earlier today it was reported by Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman that the offer required to secure Boudreau's services would be 4 years at $3 million per season.

It's huge news for fans of the Wild, for fans of the Senators this may go down as yet another missed opportunity as a result of notoriously cheap owner Eugene Melnyk's reluctance to spend on his team.
