One of the Boston Bruins' top prospect Trent Frederic made his NHL debut on Tuesday night and fans in Bean Town will not forget the impact he had during his first game, which was against the Winnipeg Jets.

The 20-year-old, who centered the third line between David Backes and Danton Heinen, made quite the impression at the end of the second period when things got intense between the Bruins and the Jets. Frederic took on Brandon Tanev as both players dropped the gloves and it's easy to say that the young rookie got the better of the bout.

Frederic hammered Tanev to the ice with a flurry of punches as the crowd cheered him on and got excited about having him on the roster.

However, NO ONE was more excited than Frederic's own parents. His mother and father, who were in attendance for their son's first NHL contest, were even more excited about their son's first NHL fight. They were filmed trying to high five each other and then cheering and getting congratulations from people sitting around them as they were jumping for joy that their boy got in a fight.

While some people might think everyone wants to avoid fighting in the NHL, Frederic's parents did not share that view when their son dropped the gloves (parents of the year?!)

Welcome to the Big Bad Bruins, Frederic.
