Breaking: Bruins make emergency recall ahead of Saturday's game
Twitter

The Boston Bruins have announced that they have made an emergency recall ahead of Saturday afternoon's game against the Florida Panthers. Centre Karson Kuhlman has been recalled for the second time this week by the club.

The 23-years-old is in his first professional season and signed a two-year contract with the team on April 10, 2018.

The former Minnesota-Duluth Captain made his NHL debut against the Los Angeles Kings on February 16th and scored his first NHL goal against the Sharks on February 18th.

After he was called by the Bruins earlier this week, he was assigned back to Providence on Wednesday after being ruled a healthy scratch ahead of the NHL team’s game with the New York Rangers.

He is usually the first pick from the Bruins when the team needs to recall a player and has become their go-to option when injuries threaten to deplete the team's ordinary forward composition.

Through seven games with Boston in the NHL, Kuhlman has tallied two goals and seven assists. During his time with the P-Bruins he has played in 58 games with 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points with a plus-23 rating.

Here are the practice lines at practice today:

Marchand - Bergeron - Johansson
DeBrusk - Krejci - Pastrnak
Heinen - Coyle - Wagner
Nordstrom - Acciari - Backes
Kuhlman

Chara - McAvoy
Krug - Carlo
Grzelcyk - Clifton Kampfer - Miller
