BREAKING: Bruins Recall Forward

The Boston Bruins have recalled center Frank Vatrano from their American Hockey League affiliate in Providence moments ago.

The 22-year-old diminutive forward has not played in any NHL games thus far this season, though he had posted eight goals and 11 points in 39 games during the 2015-2016 regular season schedule:

As the Bruins' practice is currently underway, the 5' 9" Vatrano joined his teammates.

There is still no word on whether he will be inserted into the lineup tomorrow night as the Bruins host the struggling New York Islanders at the TD Garden.
