Breaking: Bruins send two down to AHL
Keystone Press

Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney has announced that the team has demoted forward Kenny Agostino and goaltender Zane McIntyre to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

Agostino, a 25-year-old forward signed by the Bruins as a free-agent this past summer, has put up one assist and four penalty minutes in five games with the Bruins so far this season. He’s also managed an incredible seven points in just three games in Providence.

McIntyre, called in to back-up Anton Khudobin while Tuukka Rask was on the IR, has yet to see any game action with the Bruins this season, but has a stellar 1.81 GAA and .928 Sv% in five appearances with the Baby Bruins this season.
