BREAKING: Bruins Welcome Player Back
Keystone Press

A little over a month ago, the Boston Bruins announced that they would be without defenseman Kevan Miller for an extended period of time, according to general manager Don Sweeney.

While there were reports that he had perhaps tweeked his knee after taking a shot there during the preseason, it appeared as though that would not be what ailed him. Fresh off of a four-year, $10 million deal signed during the offseason, Miller was expected to be a big part of the team’s struggling blue line.

Thankfully, the team has done fairly well in his absence, as they are ninth overall in the National Hockey League by allowing 2.38 goals per game.

Earlier today, he joined his teammates for practice, though there’s no specific timeline regarding his eventual return to the lineup.

More on this soon.
