Vancouver Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev will finally be back in the lineup tonight against the New Jersey Devils, as reported by hockey insider Jeff Paterson on Twitter.
Tanev has missed Vancouver last seven games with a thumb injury. The 27-year old defenseman was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Canucks in 2010. In 363 games played at the NHL level, he registered 80 points. He added three points in 16 playoff games.
This season, the Toronto, Ontario native registered five points in 15 games.
