The Vancouver Canucks will celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2019-20 and they’ll do so in style with a brand new home and away jersey, as well as a new vintage inspired “stick in rink” jersey and logo and a classic “downward skate” jersey.

The team officially unveiled their new look earlier today and, while the new home and away jerseys do look similar to the ones they’ve worn the past 12 years, there are some important differences.

First off, the “ V A N C O U V E R ” word mark has been removed from the chest and the orca logo has been made larger and more prominent. Additionally, an updated version of the team’s original logo is included as as shoulder patch.
