Breaking: Canucks top prospect back in the lineup tonight!
Keystone Press

Vancouver Canucks forward Jake Virtanen will be back in the lineup tonight, as the Canucks face the St.Louis Blues. Virtanen was an healthy scratch for Thursday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Canucks first pick in 2014 (sixth overall) only played an average of 9:44 per game so far this season, used in a minimal role by head coach Travis Green. He still managed to score two goals and added two assists in 15 games.

Virtanen, 21, registered 18 points in 80 games played in the NHL so far. At the AHL level, he registered 20 points in 77 games played (regular season and playoffs included).

What do you think, Canucks fans? Should coach Green use him in a more important role?
