The Washington Capitals have announced that they’ve re-signed center Chandler Stephenson to a two-year contract worth $1.3 million. 

Stephenson managed to work his way into four games with the Caps in 2016-17 and registered a career high 10 goals and 38 points in 72 games with the team’s AHL affiliate in Hershey, as well. The 6’0”, 204 lb native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was drafted in the third round (77th overall) by the Capitals in the 2012 NHL Draft.
