The Washington Capitals have placed another defenseman on injured reserve today.
Christian Djoos, the 195th overall pick by the Caps in 2012, was ruled out of action since November 14th after suffering an upper-body injury.
He was considered day-to-day in the days following the injury, but his condition has clearly not improved, hence the placement on IR.
Djoos has 2 goals and an assist in 16 games in this, his rookie season.
