Not the way the Montreal Canadiens or their star goaltender wanted to start the season.
According to a breaking news report from TSN's Amanda Stein, Habs goaltender Carey Price has been ruled out of the season opener, and in fact did not even travel with his teammates on the road to Buffalo.
Price is out with an undisclosed illness, and we have no further details at this time.
