Breaking: Cassidy selects his starting goalie against Pittsburgh

This is getting really interesting.

Now here's a scenario that few likely predicted going into the season.

Anton Khudobin has been systematically pushing Tuukka Rask out of the starting goalie position for the Boston Bruins as of late, and this progression will continue this afternoon against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

This will be Khudobin's fourth consecutive start. He's played 9 games this season, starting all but 1 of them. In his 8 starts, he's 6-0-2 - undefeated in regulation. His 2.13 goals against average is 3rd best among NHL goaltenders and his 0.938 save percentage leads the league.

Rask falls far short of Khudobin's stat line, with an unimpressive 2.89 GAA and 0.897 save percentage to go along with a 3-7-2 record.

Has Rask lost his spot as the team's starter?
