Chicago Blackhawks GM has HARSH comments after his team is eliminated

It’s locker clean-out day for the Blackhawks.

Many were seeing the Chicago Blackhawks going for a long Stanley Cup Playoffs again this year. Things turned out totally different as they’ve been eliminated in 4 games against the brilliant defensive squad of the Nashville Predators.

Of course, everyone is disappointed in Chicago and so is Stan Bowman, the Chicago Blackhawks GM. He met the media this morning and here is what Mark Lazerus, Blackhawks beat writer for the Chicago Sun-Times, reported.

Here are a few harsh quotes from the press conference that was held this morning:

—Stan Bowman: “We did not even come close to reaching the standard we have set. And that’s unacceptable… Not close to good enough.”

—Stan Bowman: “I’m completely disappointed. It’s unacceptable to be where we are today. I’m frustrated, I’m angry… Complete failure.”

—Did Bowman see this coming? “No, I did not. That’s why this is taking a different tone. We’re very, very unhappy, and it’s unacceptable.”

—Stan Bowman: “That starts with me. I need to be better. There’s no doubt about it. I can promise you I will be better.”
