We have great news for Chicago Blackhawks' fans!

It looks like the team's star goaltender Corey Crawford could make a return in the near future. According to head coach Joel Quenneville, the 33-year-old netminder skated for the first time in over a month this morning. He is expected to skate tomorrow as well.

Coach Q trusted both Anton Forsberg and Cody Glass to take over after the team placed Crawford on the injured reserve, on December 27.

Crawford played parts of 28 games this year, and has a record of 16-9-2. He posted a goals against average of 2.27 and a save percentage of .929.

The Hawks have a record of 24-20-7, good for 55 points, and are currently sitting in 12th position in the Western Conference. They are just five points behind the Minnesota Wild, who hold the last wild card spot.
