According to a report from TSN’s Mark Masters, Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews did not take the gameday skate this morning in advance of the team’s game tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.
Matthews clearly hasn’t been himself since suffering an injury earlier this month, as evidenced by him failing to register a shot for the first time in his career on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames.
Is there more to this story? Leafs head coach Mike Babcock is expected to provide an update shortly.
