Breaking: Crazy brawl between Canada and Russia today!

The rivalry between Canada and Russia boiled over on Monday during the Sochi Hockey Open.

Despite there being nothing on the line except pride for both sides, tempers got the best of both the Russians and Canadians and the two teams engaged in a fairly hectic brawl if front of Team Canada's bench.

While this was effectively an exhibition game, with players from the National Hockey League banned from participating in the Olympics one has to wonder if some of these players weren't trying to showcase their grit in the hopes of earning a spot on the roster for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
