Breaking: Dallas Stars may trade one of their top forwards for help on defense!

It sounds like the Dallas Stars may have a plan to improve their blue line, and it involves dealing one of their top forwards.

According to a report from Chicago Blackhawks insider Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times, a league source has informed him that Patrick Sharp could be in play as a result of Dallas' desperation to bolster their defense.

It's unclear whether or not Lazerus' source informed him of a potential trade partner for Sharp, but he would go on to speculate that Dmitri Kulikov could potentially be the target for Dallas.  The young Panthers' defenseman has been the subject of several rumors over the last 24 hours, and Dallas could very well be in on those talks.
