He might be looking for the KHL

On Friday, the Montreal Canadiens have advised one of their defensemen that they won’t qualify him.

According to SportsNet Elliotte Friedman, Marc Bergevin will not qualify Nikita Nesterov.

Nesterov was obtained by the Canadiens mid-season from the Tampa Bay Lightning in return of Jonathan Racine and a draft pick. Nesterov played 13 games for the Canadiens during the regular season, scoring a goal and adding four assists. He also played two games during the Canadiens short playoff run.

Some insider like Eric Engels is reporting he might be looking at the KHL for next season,
