Breaking: Devils lock up highly touted prospect

Chris Ryan from NJ.Com has reported that defenseman Mirco Mueller has re-signed with the New Jersey Devils on a two year deal.

The Switzerland born prospect was drafted in the first round by the San Jose Sharks in 2013 and was recently acquired by the Devils. The Devils who are in a rebuild stage believe that Mueller can become a big piece on their blue line this upcoming season. He put up decent numbers in the AHL last year with 22 points in over 50 games and believes to be one step closer in terms of being NHL ready.
