Game 7 between the San Jose Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights took an ugly turn during the third period on Tuesday night.

Right after the face-off against Cody Eakin, Pavelski was pushed by the Vegas forward. Losing his balance, Pavelski ended up in the way of Paul Stastny, who crushed him brutally on the ice.

Our stomach turned when Brent Burns took a look at his teammate and waived at the bench to get the doctor and trainers to come over to his aid fast. The trainer quickly placed a towel on Pavelski's face as he was bleeding heavily. He fell hard on his shoulder and head.

Fans started to throw debris on the ice. Referees cleared the surface and made the call on the emotions of the crowd, ejecting Eakin out of the game.

The Sharks wanted to do everything they could for their teammate, as he was helped by a trainer and three other players to make his way to the dressing room.

San Jose went on to score two goals in less than a minute on the power-play and added one more to tie the game after the incident. Eakin received a major penalty and a game misconduct on the play.

Then, the Sharks took the lead with a little over five minutes to go. Do it for Joe.

Wow!
